A day within her life:

Every day, she is reminded of so many things. She’s reminded of the monster that hurt her. Whenever she changes, she sees the scar he left on her body. Everytime she sleeps, she just sees his face. Whenever someone holds her, she remembers the pain. She is reminded of the pain. Everytime she sees her scars, she remembers the terror of their creation. Whenever she meets someone new, she remembers someone that left. Everytime someone questions her scars, she’s reminded of why they are there. Every day, she is reminded of so many things. The pain, the tears, all the nights of crying, the razors, the blood, the utter brutality of what she did to herself. Scars; her daily reminder of such terrors.
